GW Multi-Round Replacement Filter Packs
are designed for Greenfield Water Solutions’
legacy GW4, GW5, GW7, and GW9
whole home filtration systems.
These replacement packs allow you to
maintain your existing Multi-Round
filtration system with your choice
of AquaMetix® or
KDF55 filtration media.
Each option provides specialized
water treatment, with different
contaminant reduction capabilities
to suit your household’s
water quality priorities.
Simply select the filter type
and system configuration that
matches your needs from the
dropdown menu before adding
to your cart.
IMPORTANT: CHOOSE YOUR SYSTEM SIZE
The numbers in GW4, GW5,
GW7, and GW9 refer to
the number of filters
included in your system.
Select the replacement pack
that matches your existing
Multi-Round system:

identify the correct
replacement pack.
Two filtration options
are available for
compatible GW Multi-Round
systems.
Option 1: AquaMetix Filtration
AquaMetix combines
activated carbon with
specialized adsorptive
media to address a
broad range of
water contaminants.
This option is especially
beneficial for households
seeking fluoride
reduction in
addition to other
filtration capabilities.
Option 2: KDF55 Filtration
KDF55 uses a copper-zinc
redox filtration medium
to help address chlorine
and certain dissolved
heavy metals.
This option is suitable
for compatible systems
where fluoride reduction
is not a primary concern.
Important:
KDF55 does not provide
fluoride reduction.
If fluoride is one of
your water quality
concerns, select an
AquaMetix option.
AquaMetix is a
specialized filtration
technology combining
activated carbon with
additional adsorptive
media for broad-spectrum
contaminant treatment.
Its filtration
capabilities include
reduction of applicable
contaminants such as:
The activated carbon
component helps reduce
certain organic compounds,
while the specialized
adsorptive media provide
additional treatment
capabilities.
AquaMetix filtration
is designed to retain
most naturally occurring
dissolved minerals,
including calcium
and magnesium.
Why Choose AquaMetix?
For customers who want
fluoride reduction
alongside broader
contaminant treatment,
AquaMetix is the
recommended option.
Actual reduction
performance depends
on water chemistry,
cartridge configuration,
flow rate, and
operating conditions.
KDF55 is a specialized
filtration medium made
from high-purity
copper and zinc.
It uses an oxidation-reduction
process, commonly called
a redox reaction,
to help address certain
water contaminants.
Filtration Applications
KDF55 media can also
help inhibit bacterial
growth within the
filtration media
under appropriate
operating conditions.
This does not mean
that KDF55 disinfects
water or makes
microbiologically
unsafe water potable.
Important:
KDF55 does not
reduce fluoride.
If fluoride reduction
is important to you,
select an AquaMetix
replacement option.
Actual contaminant
reduction depends
on cartridge design,
water chemistry,
contact time, and
operating conditions.
Select the replacement
pack corresponding
to your original
GW Multi-Round system.

Important:
The number refers to
the total number of
filters in the
corresponding system.
Please select the
correct system
configuration and
filtration option
from the dropdown
menu before ordering.
Choosing the correct
replacement pack is
simple when you know
your existing system
configuration and
water quality priorities.
Step 1: Identify Your System
Determine whether
your existing system
is a GW4, GW5,
GW7, or GW9.
The number indicates
how many filters
are included in
the system.
Step 2: Choose Your Filtration Media
Select AquaMetix
if fluoride reduction
is important to you.
Select KDF55
if fluoride reduction
is not a priority
and you prefer
the KDF55 filtration
configuration.
Step 3: Select Your Option
Use the product
dropdown menu
to select the
appropriate system
and filter type
before adding
to your cart.
If you’re unsure
which option is
appropriate, contact
our team before ordering.
Regular cartridge
replacement helps
maintain the filtration
functions of your
GW Multi-Round system.
Replacement frequency
depends on incoming
water quality,
household consumption,
and the capacity
of the selected
filtration media.
For many cartridge
filtration applications,
replacement is generally
recommended approximately
every 6 to 12 months,
subject to the specific
filter’s maintenance
requirements.
Factors that may
affect filter life
include:
Changes in taste,
odor, or water flow
are not reliable
indicators of every
contaminant or
remaining cartridge
capacity.
Follow the maintenance
schedule recommended
for your specific
system configuration.
These replacement packs
are intended for
compatible legacy
Greenfield Water
Solutions GW Multi-Round
filtration systems.
Supported system
configurations include:
Cartridge selection
should match your
existing system
configuration.
Important:
AquaMetix and KDF55
are different filtration
technologies and do
not provide identical
contaminant reduction
capabilities.
If you’re changing
from one filter type
to another, our team
can help review
your water quality
priorities and
compatibility.
