At Greenfield Water Solutions, our goal is to provide high-quality water filtration products, clear guidance, and responsive support before and after your purchase. This page explains our return policy, warranty coverage, installation support, product compatibility guidelines, and related customer policies.

Unused products may be returned within 30 days, excluding shipping costs and applicable restocking fees.

Warranty

Coverage varies by product type, including filters, housings, and gravity feed systems.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. If you need to return a product, please contact us so we can help determine the best next step.

Eligible Returns

Unused products may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase for a refund, excluding original shipping costs.

  • Returned products must be unused and in resalable condition.
  • Refund amounts may be adjusted based on the condition of the returned product.
  • Non-defective products are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping on non-defective products.

Returns After 30 Days

Returns requested after 30 days are handled on a case-by-case basis. If approved, refunds may be adjusted based on product condition, elapsed time, and applicable shipping or restocking costs.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Used or opened filter cartridges, unless verified as defective by our technical team.
  • Products damaged due to misuse, mishandling, improper installation, freezing, dropping, or failure to follow care instructions.
  • Products modified with non-approved parts or installed into unapproved third-party systems.

To Initiate a Return

Please email info@greenfieldwater.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable.

Damaged, Defective, or Incomplete Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or missing parts, please contact us right away at info@greenfieldwater.com.

For defective products, as verified by our technical team, Greenfield Water Solutions may provide a replacement, return label, refund, or other resolution depending on the circumstances.

Please keep all packaging and take photos of any damage so our team can assist you as quickly as possible.

Product Warranty Coverage

Greenfield Water Solutions warrants eligible products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use when installed, maintained, and used according to our guidelines.

30-Day Warranty
Filter Cartridges

Includes gravity feed, whole home, and undersink filter cartridges.

Filter cartridges are covered for 30 days from the date of delivery. We guarantee your cartridges will arrive in new condition and perform as expected when installed according to Greenfield Water Solutions guidelines.

This warranty does not cover normal wear, water quality-related exhaustion, reduced flow due to sediment or contaminant load, time-based degradation, or performance decline after normal use.

5-Year Warranty
System Housings

Includes whole home and undersink system housings.

System housings are covered for 5 years against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by freezing, improper installation, excessive water pressure, plumbing errors, neglect, misuse, modified parts, non-approved components, or failure to properly inspect the system after installation or maintenance.

2-Year Warranty
Gravity Feed Systems

Includes ceramic or composite gravity-fed filtration units sold as complete systems.

Gravity feed systems are covered for 2 years. This warranty applies to the housing, lid, spigot, and structural components.

Filter cartridges used within gravity feed systems are covered separately under the 30-day filter cartridge warranty.

Legacy Systems

Legacy systems sold prior to Greenfield Water Solutions’ change in ownership in 2024 are no longer covered under our current warranty policy.

However, we deeply value our long-time customers and will do our best to provide support where possible. Support may include troubleshooting assistance, upgrade options for current systems, or referrals to the original manufacturer when replacement parts or maintenance are outside our current product line.

Water Quality & Filter Adjustments

Because water quality varies by location, some systems may require filter adjustments based on specific contaminants, water chemistry, or usage needs.

If comprehensive lab testing, such as testing through SimpleLab or a comparable certified lab, shows that a different filter configuration is needed, our team will help review the results and determine whether an adjustment is appropriate.

  • We do not accept strip tests, TDS meters, or red dye tests as the basis for filter adjustments, warranty claims, or performance determinations.
  • If a system is returned instead of adjusted, any refund will depend on the condition of the returned components.
  • Used filters are non-refundable unless verified as defective by our technical team.

We are happy to troubleshoot and recommend solutions, but refunds or returns may not be available if the support process is declined.

Installation Support

Our technical support team is available to help both homeowners and licensed plumbing professionals with installation questions, troubleshooting, and product guidance.

We would much rather answer a question during installation than help resolve a preventable issue later.

Newly installed, recently serviced, or recently modified filtration systems should never be left unattended until all connections have been inspected and verified to be leak-free.

Product Compatibility & Modified Parts

Greenfield Water Solutions systems are engineered, tested, and warrantied as complete systems using approved Greenfield Water Solutions components.

Modifying a Greenfield Water Solutions system — including substituting housings, fittings, valves, adapters, cartridges, O-rings, or other components with non-approved parts — may affect system performance and sealing integrity.

While certain Greenfield filters or components may physically fit other manufacturers’ housings or filtration systems, we cannot guarantee performance, contaminant reduction, flow rate, compatibility, or leak-free operation in systems we have not tested or vetted.

Damage, leaks, performance issues, or system failures resulting from modified parts, non-approved components, improper installation, or the use of Greenfield filters in third-party systems are not covered under warranty.

Greenfield Water Solutions respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information you provide through our website is used to process orders, provide customer support, improve our website, and communicate with you regarding purchases or inquiries.

We do not sell your personal information.
