DNA testing can connect us with our ancestry, where we came from and to whom we are related as well as to our genetic makeup and how it impacts our quality of life.
A few years ago, my son, Ben, recommended I have my DNA tested. As a result of that testing, I found out who my biological parents were as well as connecting with eight siblings whom I didn’t know existed. You see, I was adopted at birth and for sixty years, knew nothing of my past other than that I was birthed at Coral Gables General Hospital in Coral Gables, Florida.
Again with the recommendation of my son, Ben, I recently had my DNA tested but this time for the purpose of determining my propensity for disease and/or various medical conditions. The DNA Company founded by Dr. Mansoor did the testing and what I learned was both fascinating and insightful in helping me gain a very deep understanding of my genetic makeup and its impact on my quality of life and longevity.
Dr. Mansoor shared some very interesting facts about my genetic makeup, some positive and some negative, even extremely negative. My DNA testing indicated I did not inherit two of the most important genes (GST) involved in protecting the body from the ill-effects of toxins: those that are internally ‘produced’ as well as those we are exposed to. Moreover, a complementary system known as methylation was also well below average. The latter is involved in how the body ‘heals’ itself and responds to inflammation. Consequently, my quality of life should have been significantly impacted as result of my genetic makeup.
Today, at 65 years of age, I am in what I would consider to be virtually perfect health with no medical conditions or disabilities whatever. What tomorrow brings, I don’t know but for now and for the past sixteen years, this has been my state of being. How can this be?
Up until the age of 50, I ate the standard American diet, contracted bronchitis on an annual basis, suffered from various debilitating allergies and routinely caught the flu or the common cold. My only remedies were fruitless visits to the doctor, antibiotics and allergy medicines. To top things off, unbeknownst to me, my skin was being eaten away creating an open wound on an area of my back I couldn’t see or touch. I had skin cancer and didn’t know it and my life was about to change.
I vividly remember the day. It was Sunday with family and friends gathered around our dining room table. We lived in a college town and would routinely have students over for Sunday dinners. One of those students shared with us how her mother was healed of cancer by eating a raw food diet. Her short and simple story about her mother became the catalyst that set me on an amazing adventure that continues to this day.
During the past sixteen years, I have devoted my life to the study of the body, soul and mind and our connections with God and nature and I would like to share with you one of the single most important, lessons I have learned:
Water is foundational to everything. We are not 70% water, we are 100% water. Hydrogen isn’t just part of the water molecule, it’s the building block for all matter and the primary fuel source for all cellular functions.
- If the water we consume isn’t natural, structured and energized, our cells can’t thrive and we will suffer.
- If the water we irrigate our crops, orchards, vineyards and gardens with isn’t natural, structured and energized, they will not thrive but suffer.
- If our livestock, animals and poultry don’t drink water in its natural state, structured and energized, they will not experience the level of health and quality of life they were meant to have and their cells won’t thrive but suffer.
- If the water in the food we eat isn’t natural, structured and energized, our cells can’t thrive and we will suffer.
To conclude, everyone would agree water is our most important resource but very few understand the true science of water and without a true understanding of water, neither people, plants, animals or the environment will be able to thrive as God intended.
We are on the cusp of bringing the hidden science of water to the mainstream and would appreciate any help or insight you can offer in helping us accomplish our mission. I hope to share more with you in the future about our work and thank you for joining us on this journey.
Exciting and interesting times are unfolding before us.
