Ceramic Outer Shell

The diatomaceous earth ceramic
exterior provides a physical
barrier that helps reduce
fine sediment, bacteria,
and cysts.

Inner Filtration Core

The inner core provides additional
filtration to reduce unwanted
chemical contaminants and improve
taste and odor.

Both filters install in the upper
reservoir and should be used together.
The lower reservoir remains filter-free.

Cerametix filters are designed
for compatible gravity feed systems.
Please confirm filter dimensions,
mounting requirements, and clearance
before ordering.

Use both Cerametix filters together.
Do not mix different filter types
within the same system.

For well water or other untreated
sources, water testing can help
determine whether additional
treatment is needed.

Do not rely on these filters alone
to make untreated surface water
or water of unknown microbial
quality safe to drink. An appropriate
disinfection step may be needed,
particularly where viruses
are a concern.

Cerametix combines ceramic

NSF/ANSI standard is distinct
from certification of a finished

Actual performance and service life
vary depending on incoming water
quality, contaminant concentrations,
water consumption, and operating
conditions.

The ceramic exterior can be
cleaned as directed in the
installation guide when sediment
buildup slows filtration.

Cleaning helps restore water flow;
it does not renew the contaminant
reduction capacity of the inner
filtration core.

Handle filters gently.
The ceramic shells are breakable.
Do not wash with soap, use hot
water, or perform red dye tests.

No pressure priming is required.
Follow the initial flushing
procedure before drinking
filtered water.

A mild new-filter taste may
occur initially and typically
clears with additional flushing.

Replacement timing depends on
water quality and usage.
Follow the product’s replacement
instructions, and contact us

when to replace your filters.
