We got the aquametix filters. Honestly love them. I noticed such a difference in the taste of our water. It made our water “tasteless” if that makes any sense! Our tap water tasted a bit metallicy, but with these filters it changes the taste greatly, like eliminating any taste. We got the mineral bag too, so we are atleast getting our minerals even when filtering out the bad property’s from the tap. There is no priming but you do have to fill the berkey twice and discard the water (“as a pre -priming” what the instructions said). That took forever, but now it’s so fast at filtering water into the basin. Will definitely be buying these filters again- we also live in the city!

Cerametix are great filters. Water tastes fresh/has no distinguishable taste, if that makes sense. First few fillings filtered slowly overnight, but after a week it was filtering a bit faster.
