For those new to Berkefeld, you may notice a difference in the initial flow rate. Berkefeld filters are designed for extensive purification, leading to a slower flow at the start. This slower rate is a normal part of the filtration process, indicative of the thorough cleaning your water is receiving.

A helpful tip for all our customers: keeping the top reservoir full is a simple way to improve the flow rate. This added pressure assists the filters in working more efficiently. Over time, you’ll notice that the flow rate increases to about 1L per hour per filter. British Berkefeld’s design is a fine balance between efficiency and quality, ensuring that your water is not only safe but also tastes great.
