The Cerametix® is a highly advanced ceramic filter. The exterior core is made of silver-impregnated ceramic diatomaceous earth (DE), which acts as a micro-filter, capturing particles down to 0.2 microns. The inner core contains our Aquametix® block, providing excellent chemical reduction from a single-stage filter element.

The washable Cerametix filter should be placed in the first stage of your water filter system to protect the second-stage filter from becoming clogged with sediment and debris. The CeraMetix filter is also beneficial in the event of a “boil water” advisory due to E. coli contamination, as it ensures your water remains safe to drink without boiling.

The CeraMetix is the replacement filter for 1st stage of any Under Sink system and for the AquaVas counter top.

CeraMetix® is the most advanced ceramic filter available. CeraMetix contains a (diatomaceous earth) ceramic shell with our AquaMetix® core inside to offer the reduction of aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, chloramines, chlorine, cysts, fluoride, lead, mercury, nickel, radionuclides, silver, tri-halomethane, VOC’s and zinc in a single, revolutionary ceramic filter element. The 10″ CeraMetix® element is for use with any undersink systems and our stainless steel pressurized countertop water dispenser. The 7″ CeraMetix® element can be used in most countertop gravity feed water dispensers.

CeraMetix® GF filter elements utilize our class leading silver impregnated ceramic micro porous outer shell combined with our AquaMetix® core technology.

The ceramic shell and our AquaMetix® core combines mechanical filtration and physical adsorption processes to reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concern. The pore structure of the ceramic enables sufficient contact time with the AquaMetix® core to improve taste and odor as well as reducing fluoride, chlorine, chloramine, volatile organic compounds, MTBE, lead, mercury, asbestos, arsenic, and pharmaceutical compounds. The cleanable ceramic shell is designed to remove suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria and cysts.
