This high flow rate diminishes the contact time between the water and the filtration media, significantly reducing the overall effectiveness of fluoride reduction.
Moreover, the efficiency of fluoride reduction media can vary depending on the quality of the water being treated. Factors such as pH levels and the presence of other minerals in the water can impact the ability of the filtration media to effectively reduce fluoride.
